2012 In Pictures

Happy New Year! Happy 2013!  I'm sure I'll write a blog post about reminiscing about 2012, checking my resolutions, writing new ones for 2013, and do a little self reflection. But before I do that here is a bit of 2012 in pictures in no particular order. Enjoy!

My dad and the big kids at the caverns on a day out with my parents

Three of the best things in my life.

Enjoying fresh strawberries from our garden in pie form for breakfast

Getting pedis with my best girl is one of my favorite pastimes.

The greatest gifts from God, the three Loves of my life.

There are so many more picture to share and so many wonderful memories from 2012, but this is a good start.  Happy 2013 everyone!

Out and About

Posting some pictures from the last few weeks.  I love my family! I am so blessed!

She's named her winter hat, Owly. Can you tell we love purple?!?

A scene from "Breaking Amish." Wait, nope. That's just Mr. Bananas in a cowboy hat.

Mr. Bananas getting his first haircut.  Sniff. Sniff.
No more business in the front, party in the back.

Buggy getting a haircut from the same woman who has cut my hair for the last 24 years!

Bedtime stories in Mama's bed. We LOVE Skippyjon Jones.
He's our new favorite character.

Bananas and Daddy

They truly are best friends. Love this!
(And I think those sunglasses make her look a little like Elton John)

Brothers!

My silly family :)

Little Man, Big Bed

We have a king sized bed. It's been great...especially as I tend to be ginormous when I'm pregnant. It gives me enough room to turn when needed. It also fits our entire family when need be...especially for those sleepless nights for the little ones or when we watch a family movie in bed, complete with popcorn.  The first night I was home from the hospital with Bam Bam, we decided to have a picnic dinner on our bed. Hubby spread out a picnic blanket and we ate picnic style. The kids loved that special treat.

Below is a picture of our little man enjoying the big bed with out the other kids :)

A week in the Life: Day 7

Day 7 in A Week in the Life. Last Day, Enjoy!

Bugs ready to go to Boogie's T-Ball game. Very hot yesterday!!!

The family stylin' with their sunglasses and ready to roll to the game.

 "Holly Hobbie"

Waiting for his turn at bat.

Aim for the fences!

Very tired Buggy after the t-ball game!

Trying to be more organized:  Carolina Pad 13-pocket file folder for coupons, small file folder for receipts, my Brother Labeler, and a card holder to lessen the junk in my wallet...
Dinner out last night! A very belated Christmas gift to my in-laws.

It took 3 tries, but I got everyone to smile. Hubby with his parents after our dinner.

Night sky on our way home, last night.

A Week in the Life: Day 6

I wish I brought my camera around more. I was still able to get some cute pictures. Enjoy!

My little girl without her signature pigtails. Makes her look much older...I don't know how I feel about this.

Another view of her single ponytail...still not sure how I feel about this.

Dining al fresco. The children are there, just hard to see.

Perfect outdoor dinner. Brats, loaded with peppers, the best watermelon ever, and potato chips!

So good, yum!

My son loves creepy-crawlies and likes to name them. This year, this little guy is "furry." When my son returned him to where he found him, he said, "Good luck finding your family!"

The kids brushing their teeth at bedtime. Buggy is always fighting, (ahem, I mean asserting), her right to share the same stool with her brother.

A Week in the Life: Day 5

Today was Boogie's monthly preschool sing and since it was Thursday, it also means T-ball practice. Enjoy!

Waiting to sing the next song.

Batter Up!

Ready and waiting to catch a ball!

Buggy snacking in the car waiting for Boogie to finish practice.

Thursday=Take Out

My daughter the carnivore...chomping on a chicken leg. Yum!

Sorting the kids' outgrown clothes into buckets to be used again by another baby (I hope!) Can you find Buggy in this picture?

A Week in the Life: Day 4

Today was a little tougher. I think my son needed a nap. He was teary eyed and fussy in the morning. I was much the same as I was also tired. I need more sleep! Here some fun pictures from Day 4. Enjoy!

My movie star children! I had to buy my son sunglasses because he is really sensitive to sunlight. He is enjoying wearing them, especially since Daddy got a new pair recently.

I just love Buggy's expression in this one. She makes me laugh all the time.

Profile shot.

Of course, a picture with Chester

More laughter from my little one.  Really difficult to get a picture of my constantly moving children :)

One of the ways I relax, a mug of my favorite tea! Celestial Seasonings Decaf Sweet Coconut Thai. Yum!

A birthday gift from Uncle David, a baby pterodactyl.

My birthday gift from my brother. I'm very excited to put new tunes on my new ipod!

The gift from my sweet Hubby. I love the inscription. This little thing will help make my 5-miler more enjoyable, especially paired with the itunes gift card from my little brother.

This was supposed to be my "before" picture of my kitchen table before dinner and then I would have a pretty after picture...

...not so much...here is the after picture...a class project my son and I were working on for his preschool teachers.  The table was clean for dinner and then right back to where we started. I need a better system!

My sweet hubby helping out after the kids are in bed. Thank you, Sweetheart!!!
